Nyjah Huston, the American skateboarding sensation, was nothing short of spectacular as he claimed victory at the latest Paris 2024 qualifying event held at WST Lausanne Street 2023 on Saturday, September 16.
In a jaw-dropping performance, Nyjah nailed a score of 90.00 on his second run, putting him in the lead as he headed into the trick section. From there, he unleashed three mind-blowing tricks, each earning a score of 90 or more, securing his win with a whopping total of 275.94 points from his highest-scoring tricks.
One of Nyjah’s standout moments was his nollie heelflip nose blunt side trick, which wowed judges and earned him a staggering 93.23 points.

The competition wasn’t short on drama as Netsuke Kairi made a temporary podium appearance with an impressive last trick. Meanwhile, Olympic champion Horigome Yuto showcased his ‘Yutornado’ trick, a nollie backside 270 noseslide 270 out, which earned him the highest score in the trick section at 96.95.
